07-05-2021..Finally things are getting back to pretty close to normal{as normal as it can be}been a long time !!.Got fully vacinated 4months ago(no more mask except in medical facilities yeah!!!!

02-17-2020. Been A while since the sight has been up and running. The server I had earlier this year was a nightmare. Then I got a hold of the owner of QTH and went with his server this past December. What a difference! Have not had one problem or down time at all. Everything runs smooth, so I would like to give a shout out and a thank you to KA9FOX for the smooth web transition !!!!

03-24-2018 Web Server renewal time next month decided to go for another year and stick with the same domain name. Just sprucing up the site a little. Web page spring cleaning..lol. Hopefully will be getting the New Newsletter back on line it will be changed from the "The New Old Sewer net " New name to be determined.

04-03-2017 Finally got some time to start updating the web sight a little. Adding new items on pages, going to start writing the newsletter again. Renewed server host, domain name and guest book, so we are good to go until my renewal comes back up in April 2018.

04-28-2016 It's good to be back up and online. Got Photo gallery back up after hours of frustration trying to upload it and getting it run right in html and flash.. For sale trade page still has to be done along with the video page and Sewer Net Newsletter page. I will be writing the new sn nooze newsletter possibly starting in June and remove the previous archieved versions and replace them with new.

04-05-2016. Getting ready to get Back up and running after being down for over 5 months. The Cable provider stopped all the personal web pages through their servers(which was one of the "perks") they offered. So now have found regular webpage server with alot of good features for a reasonable yearly price. So now once again the web page with some continued updating is good to go again !!

5-24-2015 Wow where has this year gone already? It's already the end of May . We got through another harsh winter. I thought it was going to let us off easy but come February and March it reared it's ugly head Even though it is the end of May the temps have been up and down very warm and humid one day next day in the 50's for highs and lows in the 30's! They say a powerful El Nino is brewing in the Pacific and come July and August Temps will be very hot across the country, so I am enjoying the cooler evenings while I can ..lol

01-07-2015 Another year is here already!! New pictures were added to photo gallery. Also still looking into different private servers to host the web page. Thinking about this winter "Redoing" the web site and new format for the newsletter (just thinking..lol) Experimented putting a video of Field Day 2002 at our house on utube(worked out well).

08-18-2014 Added a new page entitled on my 'Soapbox' where you can voice your opinion email it to me I will put it on the web page. Also updated photo gallery with some new pictures .

08-03-2014 New Guest Book up and running smoothly. I decided to subscribe yearly to the guestbook web server host so there is not any ads flying across the screen...lol. Got tired of the free guest books going down and ads popping up every time you turned around. I figured for a few $$ a year it will be well worth it.

07-31-2014 Upgraded our Guest Book since the other site that hosted the old one kept going down. It will work in IE and or Firefox just fine.

03-11-2014 With all the snow and cold and in climate weather there just might be a light at the end of the tunnel...lol. Hopefully be able to catch up on updating the website. Once again Guest book server site went down but once again it is back up for the 10th time. I need to look into getting a different Guest Book host server in the future.

Guest book back up online, Lost all the entries though :( The Guestbook Service I was using started hosting their services again, so hopefully it will stay up and running again at least for awhile. Starting how to learn to do 3d animation example is in the Video page entitled sewer net. Also put a link for the sewer net newsletter online.

11-17-2013..The guestbook server I was using is no longer hosting their services. We are currently looking for one that is secure and ad free so we can get that back up and functional . Also added the 'New old Sewer Net" newsletter online in PDF Format. Working on adding Newsline and Arrl bulletins.

10-25-2013.. The Sewer Net is starting up again. The "New" Old Sewer Net is on 146.49 2 meter simplex, Usually from mid evening through the wee hours of the morning. It is an open roundtable net and conversations consist of anything from radios and antennas to computer problems.

08-10-2013 .. The website has not been updated in awhile due to summer being here. I hope to start updating the website once again on a regular basis. I will be adding new articles and features in the coming months.

On June 27th, 2012, storms with the "Derecho effect" or "Bow Echo" as some call it, hit Fort Wayne direct and produced 90 +mph winds and was probably one of the worst I have seen in many many years. Wires, poles, huge trees down all over the city not to mention buildings and homes severely damaged or destroyed, and tens upon tens of thousands left without power. The power in our area of the city was out for a little over 4 days and the straight temps were 95-100 degrees, with heat indexes of 103-106 degree's F. This storm caused a path of destruction for over 700 miles from the Midwest and northeast Indiana all the way to the east coast. When this storm took place I had just gotten out of ICU that morning from having quadruple bypass surgery.
